To this I would add that discrimination absolutely does include "jokes" and those stupid things people "like" on Facebook. Just because you're kidding doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.
(Please note I am not necessarily endorsing all of the language choices the person who created the poster has made, but I do think it's a really fucking useful poster overall.)

the other day a commercial came on in which two female security guards decided to confiscate the chocolate a man was bringing through customs and to preform a strip search on him (obviously being done because they found him attractive). i was pretty outraged about the whole thing and had to explain to my 11yr old that i was so upset because if the genders were reversed there would be a public outcry over the mistreatment of that female traveler and that i found it just as offensive when done against males - we need to move into a heart space as a species where everyone is afforded the same consideration, respect, and care no matter what their perceived differences are!
